Best Mexican Food in Trenton

This was amazing!! The absolute best Mexican fajitas I have ever had!! The portion size was huge! Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The rice was also perfection!! The beans were served in a separate cup and were not beans from a can! Don't be dissuaded by the Trenton address. Well worth giving El Chapin a chance to bring you authentic Mexican food at a fair price and great portions

This place is so good! It is dangerously close to my house. I really could eat from here every day. Everything we have tried has been delicious. Their roasted chicken is a favorite. As well as empanadas and quesadillas. I haven't tried all the offerings on the menu but I look forward to making my way through it. What we have tried, is always fresh and well seasoned. Definitely our neighborhood spot.

We ordered from here for the first time last night and will be ordering again and again! Between the 3 of us we had arroz con pollo, chicken burrito with fries (although next time I'm gonna see if they can do rice instead), cheese empanada, and a cheeseburger with fries. Everything was affordable and delicious!! HUGE portions too. Reheated the next day beautifully. I highly highly highly recommend this place and can't wait to try more from their extensive menu.

The El Chapin Restaurant is very small. Just a few tables. No parking lot so must find off street parking. The food is made to order. It may take a bit longer but it is worth the wait. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We all ordered a different entree. It arrived hot and delicious. Most of us had to ask for a take home bag because the portions were so big.
